Hello,

I am Nathan ‘Reetin’ Spruth. Aside from this introduction post you readers will probably not see much from me posted on the site as I am not here as a columnist but I am here to run the Therebegeeks stream every Saturday night at 8PM PST (or PDT, depending on the date).

A little about my gaming history: I have been playing games since I was a wee lad. I first played on the NES, then my family got a Genesis, moved onto the N64 and after that I owned the Playstation and pretty much every major system from then on. The reason I say this is that when I was a kid I miss out on great RPGs because I always went with the wrong console. The Genesis was a great console but it had very few RPGs and the same goes for the N64, while my friends were playing Final Fantasy VI I was stuck playing Phantasy Star.

With all that being said, my favorite game is Final Fantasy VI along the lines of RPGs being my favorite genre of video games. I know a lot of people discriminate on whether it is JRPG or WRPG, as long as the game is good, I will play it.
